who i am

this is the personal website of adam house. i am, among other things, an american software engineer, manager, writer, apple enthusiast, and techno-optimist. i maintain some modest open source projects here. in general, i am enthusiastic about digital privacy and maintain a minimal public presence online.

what i do

professionally, i specialize in low-level, performance-oriented applications, particularly in accounting, payment processing, market data and related applications. i am most comfortable coding close to the metal using languages such as c, rust, and go. these days i am also enthusiastic about zig and hare. i have worked on blockchain applications since 2021.

as a manager, i am focused on empowering my team members to the fullest extent possible. i believe in positive vibes, precise communication and continuous feedback. i am most experienced managing full-stack teams writing complex applications with critical performance and security requirements.

i am focused on my full-time engineering career and am no longer accepting new contract clients. all previous contract clients have been transitioned to other other consultancies and i no longer run a consultancy. this message will remain on this website until at least april 2025.
